We are social creatures, living in groups, building relationships and social circles whether for economical reasons or personal ones all gathered in one geographic spot that brings us closer to the people who share the same location or expanding bridges with far away countries through the mediums of modern communication tools that we all take pleasure in using.
We often promote ourselves to be just like everybody else in order to obtain that social acceptance or should I say for some of us it is rather the” social benediction “. We think that if we are similar to the rest of the community we will shine more and we will belong to a social network and thus reserve our place within a certain group of persons to feel more adequate and more successful.
But, let us just pause for a minute and ask ourselves do we want to stand out or do we just want to blend in and have that total fusion of the overall woven social tissue to a point we fade into the group and erase our own individuality for the sake of society?
