I breathe.

I do it approximately 30 times a minute.

I have done so since I was born.

My heart beats. It does this approximately 65 times a minute. Every minute.

When I turn my head to look around me, I see shapes and textures and above all, miraculous, beautiful colour.

When I eat, I taste.

When I reach out my hand, I feel hot, cold, soft, hard, rough, smooth. I feel.

My brain is able to process all of this, and knows what to do with it.

جرعات صباحية  تدخلني وتلون بالاحمر  قيثاري

تفض بكارة عذرية  دماغي  في الصباح وتجعل من رجلاً وتفضح كل أسراري

آه  من تلك الجرعات التي تمحي المسافات

آه  من تلك الهمسات التي تلحن لي الأغنيات

جرعاتك  تدخل إلى فمي ويدخل معها ملايين الأشارات

إشاراتٍ  تأخذني شمالاً  إلى أماكن الحلم والواقع والتمنيات

It is the fear, the alarm that rings in our heads, it hold us back, we lack self esteem, we are too coward to leave the hell we know for the heaven we will have to get to know.

Hesitation is a executioner sometimes since time waits nor stops for no man, the ride is on and the wheels keep turning , we have to be fast enough to keep up to its paste else we will miss the voyage and loose the chance to leave our station to another..

اعتبر ولده إمام مسجد مجدل عنجر بطلا قوميا باسلا، لا يجهر إلا بكلمة الحق. طالب رئيس الجمهورية و دولة رئيس مجلس الوزراء و الأمنيين جميعا رفع عمامة ولده الشيخ محمد المجذوب التي ألقيت على الأرض خلال عملية الخطف، مشبّها عمامة الشيخ بعمامة خليفة المسلمين عمر بن الخطاب. ثم توعّد بإذكاء الفتنة في لبنان إن لم تُحترم كرامة أهل السنّة بدءا من رئيس الجمهورية و انتهاء بأصغر شرطي بلدية. لكن ما أن بزغ فجر اليوم الثالث لعملية الخطف حتى دهمت القوى الأمنية مسكن كمال حندوس في بلدة “لالا” البقاعية و ألقي القبض على الشيخ المجذوب و صديقه حندوس، فيما أصدرت النيابة العامة الاستئنافية في البقاع مذكرتي توقيف بحقهما، و أحالتهما على فرع المعلومات في بيروت للتحقيق

اعترف إمام مسجد مجدل عنجر الشيخ محمد المجذوب أمام المحققين، أنه هو من دبّر عملية اختفاءه و أن كمال حندوس جاراه بناء على طلبه. و قال الشيخ المجذوب انه خطط لفعلته بهدف استعطاف أصحاب النفوذ و الثروة و إلقاء الأضواء الإعلامية عليه و تقديم نفسه انه ضحية مواقف سياسية متشددة كان قد اتخذها في مراحل سابقة ضد “حزب الله”، تمهيدا لتسلمه منصبا سياسيا في منطقته و دعمه ماديا في أسوأ الأحوال.

يا حكاية الحكايا  يا ست الصبايا

يا قشطة بعسل يا عيش السرايا

يا مرايتي انتي يا أصدق المرايا

وين كنتي مخبايي وين ؟

وين كانوا  هالعينتين  وين ؟

أنا كنت عم قول شو ناقص

وليش كنت ضلني غاصص

هلق عرفت شو القصة

وليش كنت هيك حاسس

روحي وروحك يا روحي  روحين بروح

جمرة وسكرة وفكرة لاحقيني مطرح ما بروح

تعي ولعيني  بموقدتك قبل ما هالدني تروح

وصبي كاس نبيذ أحمر من شفافك تا أسكر

المتل بيقول  ولعي شمعة وما تلعني العتمي  بيكون أفضل

يلا صار وقت الرقص  تعي تا نرقص قبل ما واحة الرقص تتسكر

يا لطيف الوقت شو بيمرق بسرعة  وكيف نحنا عم نكبر

بس رح نبقى يا روحي ولدين زغار عم نلعب لعبة  العمر  مش أكتر

Our true color … the real face we show when we unmask and take off the fake visage we wear when we are out in the social realms…

playing our games and being who we are not sacrificing who we genuinely are in favor for a so called” acceptance” from others… we show them the face they want to see and sacrifice the face we know ourselves through when we look at our own reflection in the mirror..

The stressful lives we find ourselves obliged to co exist with, requires us to find our “break region”, where we can prevent anxiety and revive our brainpower, in order to recover from the dirt of the zillions tasks and obligations we are forced to take on.

This relief zone where we leave our mark is not necessarily geographic; it could change and diverge from one person to another each according to our fondness.

Is contentment safety? The walls we build around us, are they protection or captivity in a false security ploy.

Are we really safe and sound when we are satisfied with the status quo? Are we secure in our element and familiar ground? Aren’t we just fine where we are kings of our well known territories? Do we have a feeling that we have all what we need, that we reached a fixed point where we dwell in a state of stagnation where fine is good and better is a risk that we are better off without?

هو مجرد يوم عادي لبعض الناس ,  أما للبعض الآخر فهو يومٌ  مًميز,  يتميز بحسب المعنى لذكرها فمنهم من ينتظره بفرح و منهم من ينتظره بحزن و منهم من ينتظره بحب اما البعض منهم   فينتظره ليستغله و يتخفى خلف معناه الحقيقي  ليستغل قلبٌ رقيق و  بريء  فيمنحه الحب المزيف بهدية حمراء .

اما بالنسبة لي فهو يومٌ مميز بالتأكيد ( عيد الحب ) على مختلف الأوجه   .
