Be LEBANESE

Wish this country had some other citizens,
They would have treated her in a much respectful way.
We’ve always been proud to be Lebanese.
But we are killing this country with each and every act we are doing.
Since Independence and even before, Lebanese are just leader followers,
Aren’t we supposed to be the so called smartest people on this Earth??
Isn’t the Lebanese: “Matra7 ma bitzittou byiji we2if”,
Supposed to be so… Supposed to be smart…
But unfortunately, we appeared to be some “Leader followers”
Who are themselves followers to other outside leaders…
Not to miss the big game of the big leaders controlling local leaders who seem to fight…
But it is so much clear that with every fight we lose a lot of our fellows,
And with every fight it is also clear that the leaders of the previous fight are the leaders of this one.
So are we still the smartest?
Are we going to stop any coming fights? (Hope they will not come)
Or just fight on behalf of the same leaders again?
Let’s wake up a bit, let’s be Lebanese
Let’s belong to Lebanon, before belonging to our religion, our sect or our political party.
Being just Lebanese will help us be proud of it…
And will get our Beloved Lebanon to be proud of US too
Be smart, Be proud

Good call ya guesswho:-). We need to appreciate and respect eachother first and then the country without a doubt will wrap its arms around us.
