Dearest Marc:
It feels so weird writing to you here, after you’ve been there for three years, hanging around NDL, and Ecole Plus, shouting singing laughing and sometimes “studying”. As bitter as it feels, we miss you there, we miss you shouting at Mr. Ihab :”el istez m7atat 3layyi, we7yet immi ma 3milit shi”, We miss you stepping outside to the corridor and telling me “zhi2it”, we miss that look in your eyes that was full of life!!!!
It’s been five days now, everybody started to act normally, but no one dares to really look at your pictures on the walls, we’re afraid of that feeling that we felt Tuesday, we’re afraid of that breeze that kept us full of tears…..
I won’t ask you why did you leave, I’ll just wonder what are you doing up there?? Are you happy?? I can bet on that!
I bet you’re watching all of us from up there, enjoying the view, enjoying the classes! Laughing at Maroun, Kevin and Bachir as they step joke in class and at me shouting at them to study….. You’re watching Lea starring at your photo all day with tears in her eyes…. You’re watcing Mr. Ihab wondering around that photo all day and waiting at what time you’ll step out of class……….
We miss every detail of you over there, it’s never gonna be the same like before, Lessons at ecole plus won;t be the same, your messy handwriting is still on some of my copybooks and tables…… “Marc was here!” that’s what it said……
With tearful eyes we look up to you today, it’s time to say our goodbyes I think, but until we meet again dearest Marc, keep your sparkling eyes and your wonderful eyes in our minds, never let us forget those happy days, stay next to us all………
