How Fine Are You?

When people ask eachother:”How are you?”, the reply would be:”I’m fine, thanks” most of the time. On the other hand, that person might be feeling so bad. This made me think:”Should we REALLY say how we feel?”and “Who are the people we should confess our real state to?

Starting from myself, I say that I’m fine most of the time aswell, for many reasons. The first is that saying”I’m fine” may change me to being fine for real, even is i wasn’t.Thinking that nothing’s wrong all the time drives the person to stay wel no matter what happens.

Second, if the “No, I’m not fine…I’m so down….etc..”; whatever pessimistic phrase it was wouldn’t benefit the person, then why say it?.Saying that we’re not fine is the reverse of saying we;re fine.It drives us to a worse situation.

Also, saying “I’m not fine”, makes others want to know why. This bothers people sometimes. They start thinking:”Why would he/she want to know what’s wrong with me?”…hehehe…Whereas they were the ones to say that they’re not fine inm the first place. So, let them bare the consequences of their actions.

I think that we should say how we really are ONLY to people who can help us change our state if t was negative.

So, saying:”I’m Fine” might be a positive thing when it’s said to the right people.

Finally, one can keep his/her feelings to himself/herself, but telling someone else helps sometimes, especially if they were so close and understand us.We just need to know who we’re saying it to.
