lebjournal.com-Trust in another is a hard thing to accomplish. Trust is earned just like respect. In order to trust, someone has to give you the reason to do so. It’s a slow painful process, full of trials, tests, and traps. Trust is basically a study in human character, no matter how much you think you know, there’s always more to learn.

Life cannot protect you from that YOU CHOOSE to guard your confidence, for you are the one who brought them into your life and exposed yourself to them. Your trust in people in general, your life trials, your ups and downs, your knowledge, your education, your culture, are all factors that come to play when you choose to place a trust in someone.

Trust is an over inflated emotion that can be more harmful than love if it takes the wrong turn. Mistrust results in all kinds of ugly emotions that we sometimes forget that we had in us.

Before judging others, look unto yourself; ask yourself if you’re correct in your decision that the person who lost your trust was really betraying you. Has that person forgiven you for your betrayals that you’re not aware of? Has that person overcome unforgivable mistakes by you, and continued to place you on a pedestal? Many questions you need to ask yourself before condemning the investment that you’ve placed in another.

It is very easy to believe in deception, to let yourself bathe in the sorrow of self pity for what you believe was done to you.
Before you get to that point make sure of your facts, and make sure you’re not actually the one betraying the trust by shying away, and distancing yourself because of words you misinterpreted, or deeds you misjudged. Confront your trustee and make sure it’s not a misunderstanding.
Like everyone says , one doesn’t live alone.
The pain of deception is a sword with dual edge. The pain of betrayal, and the bigger pain of loosing someone who meant so much to you.
Your attitude of thanking god for that precious someone in your life, the one that makes you feel very special, very unique, is a reflection of your inner strength and your resolve.

Never give up looking, and never give up believing.
