Every profile mainly represents its user’s identity. A huge percentage of the profiles found on facebook have pictures of its users. Bu this way, facebook makes it easier for its users to make new friends. But not every person puts in his profile his real pictures. So, in that way, they are lying on the other members. But this happen in small percentages.

The answer is simply YES. When every user is uploading a picture to facebook he is giving the right to the Facebook administration to do whatever it wants by his pictures. A little number of users are aware of this truth, but the rest of the users are not aware of this fact since they press on the Certify statement without reading it or without understanding what it really means.

there is a possibility that their pictures won’t be sold, but if their pictures were sold by Facebook, to where are the pictures sold? To what websites would the pictures be sold?

The answer is simple. Some porn sites would pay money to have pictures of beautiful girls who have adorable faces.

why would a porn site buy the pictures of innocent beautiful girls?

Using Adobe Photoshop the face of any person can be put on the body of any other person. So imagine what would the reaction of a young girl who see her face on a nude body found on a porn site and she is treated as a porn star be? Imagine a young guy seeing his face on a naked guys body on a gays’ porn site, what would we do? Is this fair? Is this ethical?

This is not fair and this is not ethical, but this is what would happen if Facebook decides to sell our pictures. But would that ever happen. This remains the mystery that would be answered in the future.
